POLICY REVISIONS (POLICY)
Methods of Revision
1. Persons or groups suggesting additions or changes in items in the Policy and Procedure Manual should
present their proposals to the Piya Wiconi Okolakiciye or the President's staff for referral to the
committee structure.
2. Proposals should utilize the standard page form and format. Items should be appropriately identified
as policy, regulation, procedure, general statement or supporting material. Material following any of
these headings should conform to the definition of that type of item.
3. Appropriate code numbers may be suggested, but the responsibility for the final code number assignment
rests with the office of the President (or an office designated by the President) where a log of code
numbers is maintained.
4. All items to be added, deleted, or changed in the Policy and Procedure Manual must be approved by the
Policy Committee of the Board. In addition, all policy items must be approved by the Board of
Trustees.
5. The Office of the President (or an office designated by the President) shall be the issuing office.
No items shall be distributed or circulated until officially issued by this office. Once issued, items
may be copied and given wider distribution as appropriate. Requests for additional quantities may be
made to the issuing office.
6. Adopted or revised P & P items are to be placed in the Policy and Procedure Manual in accordance with
the newly established code number.
